Description

Our client, a European Leader in Reproductive Medicine and Women’s Care, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head of PMO & Roll-out to join their team. As a pivotal member of their Digital Department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful implementation of their IT projects across multiple roll-out streams.- Long term project at least 24 months
- Full time and 100% remotely within Europe
Your Role Involves
- Oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across various roll-out streams, emphasizing efficient project governance and methodology adherence.
- Shape Project Delivery and Roll-Out Methodology - Play an instrumental role in shaping the project delivery and roll-out methodology, leveraging your expertise to enhance and refine our approach to IT project management.
- Guarantee accurate project status reporting and information for all stakeholders, actively monitoring and tracking project milestones in alignment with project governance principles.
- Handle administrative tasks (reporting, develop and maintain project plans, incl. goals, schedules, costs) and facilitate inter-departmental communication
- Proactively identify, document and report potential risks and issues that may impact project success
- Conduct team meetings, manage follow-up tasks and ensure timely execution
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, team and vendors
- Continuously analyze outcomes, identify areas for improvement, implement best practices and share within the team
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and standards
Professional background
- At least 8 years proven experience in project management or program management, PMO, or a similar role, showcasing expertise in IT delivery and governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with an eye for detail
- Proficient in project management tools, such as Jira, Asana or Microsoft Project
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., PRINCE, Agile), guiding projects with a governance-focused approach.
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Technical background with knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to approach senior managers using appropriate level of detail and logical reasoning
- Able to adjust level of communication based on the stakeholder level of technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex project situation to non-technical stakeholders
- A strong team player
- Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
